Local community activist and artist Nancy-Ellen Churchville, President and COO of Liberation Fellowship Community Development Corporation featured, read an excerpt and signed purchased copies of her first novel "Nana's Wicker Back", a story of a lost woman who was commissioned by her ancestors to settle a matter that had been haunting their family for generations.
The atmosphere was charged with energy and excitement as friends, family, customers and business affiliates poured through the doors of Canvas Soup Beauty Lounge seeking to purchase or receive a signature of Nancy-Ellen's novel, as Ms. Bridget-Word Cunningham, proprietor of the facility graciously received guests and facilitated the event with the utmost of grace and ease.
